据外媒7月6日消息，全球管理咨询公司麦肯锡公司表示，循环利用增加以及效率提高导致的塑料包装使用下降将影响石化产品需求，从而将影响液态烃类的需求，因为石化行业对于石油的需求将减少。当前只有大约8%的塑料进行循环利用，但是到2035年这一比例将达到20%。到2035年塑料包装将减少5%。这些因素意味着石化行业对于石油的需求将减少高达250万桶/天。

Recycling, Less Packaging Could Hit Oil Demand
Petrochemicals demand could be affected by increased recycling and declining usage of plastic packing through efficiency, according to global management consultancy McKinsey & Company. In a report the company says that this in turn could affect liquid hydrocarbon demand as less oil would be used by the sector. Today about 8% of plastic is recycled but this is expected to grow to 20% by 2035. Plastic packing is expected to decline by 5% by 2035. This in turn could mean that demand for oil from petrochemicals could decline by as much as 2.5 million barrels a day.
