据悉，巴林石油公司(Bapco)计划通过现代化改造项目对Sitra炼油厂进行扩能，当前公司正寻求来自于一些工程建设公司的投标。该炼油厂当前的加工能力约为26.7万桶/天，但是公司希望将加工能力增加近10万桶/天，投资高达50亿美元。
该项目的投标将在今年10月5日结束，合同将在2017年二季度末授出。

Bahrain Petroleum to expand Sitra refinery
Through its modernization program, Bahrain Petroleum Co. (Bapco) is seeking bids from several engineering and construction companies to expand the Sitra oil refinery. The plant processes approximately 267 MBPd , but Bapco wants to increase production by almost 100 Mbpd. An expansion of the plant could cost as much as $5 B.
Bidding for the project will close October 5, 2016, and award of a contract is expected by the end of 2Q 2017.
Interested parties include Samsung Engineering, Hyundai Engineering and Construction, Daewoo Engineering and Construction, Petrofac, JGC Corp., and others.
